Treetops Restaurant News

The entire team at Treetops Resort is thrilled to announce we have hired Scott Rutter as our new Food & Beverage Director. Scott hails from Colorado bringing the resort 30 years of industry experience from some of the finest luxury hotels, restaurants, and resorts in the country, including the acclaimed St. Regis Resort in Aspen, the Vail Cascade Resort & Spa, and Condé Nast #1 boutique hotel in Jackson Hole - the Wort Hotel. He apprenticed under Chef Jesse Lapitan of the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, worked with Food & Wine magazine, and was an assistant producer for Bravo's Emmy Award-winning "Top Chef."

"We are thrilled to welcome Scott and are looking forward to expanding and elevating the guest experience at Treetops. We have always been known for our world-class golf and winter adventure, so we are excited to see how he will transform our resort into a true culinary destination," says Barry Owens, GM. "He's creative, passionate, well-rounded, and he understands resort and mountain operations." When asked what his vision is for the trio of year-round restaurants, seasonal outlets, and vast banquet facilities, Scott "envisions bringing the level of cuisine up to casual excellence, providing luxury service, and maintaining a family-comfortable environment."

Stay tuned for some very exciting new changes on the hill!
