Alright, you’ve graduated to full-on Rafting Champ. It’s time to hit the Sturgeon River, the fastest in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. Don’t be fooled by the lack of “white-water”; it’ll give you more than just a run for your money if you come in cocky. If you can avoid capsizing, take a gander at the bald eagles, blue herons, and deer silently judging you.

Get in contact with our Reservation Staff and outfitters for proper preparation for this beastly body of water, including a box lunch to replace the one you might lose navigating the Sturgeon.

If you’re looking to channel your inner Indiana Jones, you can add a tethered ropes course, before or after you tangle with the Sturgeon. Traverse 11 elements range between 12 and 20 feet high. If you don’t what vertigo is, you’ll surely find out. But don’t worry, there’s a full-body harass tethering you to the course. SAFE!
