Trevino At Treetops Spectator
On July 30, 2001, Lee Trevino aced hole #7 (Hang Time) on Threetops during the 3rd annual Par 3 Shootout. The made for TV event aired in prime time on ESPN and for the feat, Lee won a cool $1,090,000 with that one swing of the club; half of which he generously donated to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.

Come spend the afternoon with Lee Trevino on our award winning Par 3 course, Threetops! Watch this historic tournament on hole #7 where Trevino will be hitting a golf shot for each team! Our spectator pass will allow you to watch from behind the green seeing all shots coming to the hole or up on the tee box where Trevino will be hitting from. Seating options will be first come, first serve.
Spectator Pass Details
- 12:00pm – Spectators can start arriving. Spectators will park in the Tradition parking area and shuttled to the Treetops North parking area. Access will be provided to hole #7 on Threetops via a walking path to the green area on hole #7.
- 1:00pm – The event is set to begin!
- Spectators can watch from behind the green or next to tee box where Lee Trevino will be stationed for the day hitting shots for each group. There will be bleachers set up on the tee of hole #7 seating approximately 80 people. Others can stand or sit around the bleachers as long as they are not blocking the view of those in the bleachers. Seating is first come, first serve.
- The event will last between 2 ½ and 3 hours.
